BONES & GLITTER
are a series of illustrations I started drawing at the end of 2019

They have quite massive dimensions: I wanted to experiment bigger sizes. Bones & Glitter are handmade mixed technique illustrations based on alchemy colours (black, red, white and gold) and glitter dust, with a touch of Japanese style. Working with glitter allows me to have outstanding effects when the painting plays with light (natural or artificial). Sometimes I add three-dimensional elements like flowers or butterflies or anything else that might suit the purpose. I like to consider these images like "tarots": through a symbolic language, based on anatomy and animals standing on a neutral background, my artworks speak a broader language about life and feelings, as well as trying match the opposites, taking down prejudices.
